Here is a local buck that was killed this past season in bow season. It's one of the stockiest typical-frame buck I've seen come out of the county.

KS, what a coincidence I have the spring edition of big buck magazine on my desk here. Guess what buck is gracing the cover?

The entire story of Jeff Serverson and this buck. The title of the article is

"Its a God thing"

It nets 184 typical and 220 Net Nontypical and 235 [b]Gross,[/b] according to this article. It also states he harvested this buck on KS public land.

Shed, i'll have to go and get that issue. I'm suprised he said it was killed on public land figuring there is very little of it in the county, and surely the hunting pressure will go up after people here that.
