Refex Bows

Are Reflex Bows any good? Just need to know. Then are the peep sights that have the rubber tube on them any good?

i bought one probably 4 years ago, i was 15 years old or something. reflex bighorn to be exact. supposedly not the best on the market but i was 15, and money was hard to come by. to this day i cannot say that i've had a problem with it. when i do decide to upgrade, it'll probably be another relex, or hoyt, same thing. i am happy with the speed and size of this bow. other guys may have different opinions of them, but that is kind of like the Chevy-ford debate(BTW Chevy) just about any bow from the last few years, when set up correctly, will do the job. the biggest factor with any bow is proper tuning, and of course, the shooters' form.

as for the rubber tubing, i don't like it. right now i am using a peep that sits perpendicular to the string, that way string twist is not a factor, and i really like it. i've had rubber tubing break and smack me in the face, and it was in a hunting situation. but be your own judge.

I bought a Reflex Prowler and its a shooter. Very forgiving bow. Pretty damn fast too.

Honna reflex bows are good. I have set up and sold several with no complaints. I honestly beleive the reflex Bighorn with accs for less than $200.00 is best buy today. As for rubber tube it works great just need to change rubber ever season.

I also have a reflex prowler(60-70lb), after having it a year i bought another one (50-60lb). I shoot fingers and have one setup(67 1/2lb) 29in. 2413 arrows w/100gr. broadhead, bow jacks silencers. A whisker bisquit rest.

Bow #2 58lbs. bow jacks/cat whiskers, same arrows w/125gr. 3 blade muzzys, flipper/plunger type rest.

Both these bows are deadly...accurate,quiet, and fast.

im considering a Reflex Timberwolf, its a great lookin bow with respectable speeds, not sure if i like the 6 inch brace height though. Ive never heard anything bad about them. As far as the rubber peep sight string, i have had bad experiences with them myself breaking and hitting me.
