Should I paper tune my bow?

I have a Matthews bow. I have noticed that some arrows seem to spiral or wobble as they fly. Sometimes, I KNOW that I am right on when I release, and the arrow flies 6-8 inches off at 25 yds. Today, I even lost an arrow in the woods when it missed the target. I usually shoot a 4-5 inch pattern at 25 yds, so I don't think it wasa shooting error.

Should I get the bow paper tuned? Would that help?

I TRYED THE PAPER TUNE SYSTEM GOOD NEVER REALLY GET IT DOWN RIGHT. I LIKE THE BARE SHAFT SYSTEM SHOOTING A BARE SHAFT AT 15 @ 20 YARDS. THE WAY THE ARROW ENTERS THE TARGET WILL TELL YOU WHAT HAS TO BE ADJUSTED.HIGH LOW NOCK,LEFT OR RIGHT NOCK INCREASE OR DECREASE BOW WEIGHT.

A paper tune is not a cure all but only a starting point.
Try numbering your arrows so you can tell if there is a flyer in the bunch.

Check center shot and nock height and go from there.

As lonewolf said, look at the entry angle of your arrow but if you shoot int a rag type target this will not help as an arrw will try to fllow the stuffing and won't stay straight.

RE: Should I paper tune my bow?

hopefully I solved the problem tonight. Turns out that the new arrows I just ordered had fletchings that had not been properly aligned. Rookie mistake on my part for not fixing that, but I had no idea that it made that much difference. Losing that $7 arrow is enough of an education for me!
Thanks for the info.
