Well I just ordered the Copper John 5 pin. Everyone seems to agree that it is a good sight! I sure hope so!!

Front pin.. I would say 20 yds. Because most shot's I have ever taken have been within 25 yds! even elk hunting out west! But that's just my opinion.

Ya that's what I meant.. I would recommend 20yds. for your first pin. Then 30,40 etc.. But I don't believe in shooting at big game animals over 40yds. Some people do though. If you get much farther out then that it kind of get's pointless in my opinion. I mean bow hunting is about close encounters. And I take pride in that. I would never take a shot at a big Mulie or bull at 60 yds.. No way.. Might as well be rifle hunting if that's the case! Well I guess just do what is comfortable for you! That's what counts.. Good luck!!

I've tried quite a few sights in my years of bowhunting, and the one that I'm using now, Spot Hogg Hunter, is the best I've found.

I have recently fallen in love with the ViPin Matrix sight from TR. Wish I would have tried one when they came out. If you are going to be shooting at longer ranges I would defin. try the Rhino when it hits the market. It really appears like it provides an open shot picture for ranges of 40+ when pinpoint accuracy is key.

If you don't mind spending the money it's tough to beat a Spot Hogg.

For one of the best values around I like the PSE F-22 It's everything that a Copper John Dead Nuts should be.
