RE: whats so special about blazers??
I posted this in the Bowhunting.COM threads:
I put the Blazers on my GT 5575s. I have arrows that are 28 5/16" long. The Blazers changed my FOC so much over my 4" Durvanes that I have terrible accuracy over 25 yrds. My buddy has Easton 340s. It seems that the Blazers do not affect the FOC as much on the heavier arrows. My FOC changed from 7% to about 15%. If you are changing to Blazers check your FOC to avoid accuracy problems.
They are not "better" I have found. They may be better for other setups. Quality wise I have found all the vanes to be good.

RE: whats so special about blazers??
Smaller = less contact issues with standard rest.
Smaller = less speed loss (compared to standard 4"vane or feathers) with Whisker Biscuit rest and zero damage from biscuit.
Very durable and shoot as advertized. Broadheads group just as good as 4" feathers when your bow (and arrows) are tuned right.
If it were my setup I would choose a 15% foc over 7%! You could probably get the ideal foc by moving the vanes up or down and/or changing the weight of your tips.
Do I think the Blazers are as great as most people claim?
Yes!
