Default Good Treestand

I'm looking for a good lock-on treestand for this fall. I want one that is comfortable with a large platform, something that I will feel safe and comfortable to hunt in all day. Any suggestions??

Gorilla makes some really awesome stands! I have the Silverback Magnum. It is awesome! I can sit in it all day long without being uncomfortable. It has a great seat with excellent padding, and for an additional 15 dollars you can add an optional footrest which to me is a 15 dollars well spent. In all it cost about 115 dollars. Check it out at gorillatreestands.com. The dimensions of mine is 24x30. Because it is alluminum this big stand only weighs 13 lbs! I hope this will help you out!

I just bought the Summit viperX4 climber and find it to be a very good stand ,I'm sure if the climber stand,s are good I'm sure then their fixxed stand's are good as well.

I've had good luck with API. I use a Baby Grand and 2 AL100's. I also have a Summit Viper climber that I use for state land, also a very good stand.

You asked for the best hang-on or lock-on treestand: make sure you take a good hard look at a Chippewa Wedge Loc. In my opinion.....the best hang-on! Various sizes, easy platform leveling option, hangs on rock solid in seconds! You can also have spots all ready all over your woods and just use one stand. Check them out!

Good Luck!

There are many to choose from, but for me it's the silverback magnum, a little pricey but well worth it. Can't put a price on being comfortable.
