bow bi-pod
Have people seen this? If so, what do you think? For reference, it appears on the 1st few pages of the new Cabelas turkey catalog. Here is another link:
http://bowonlyoutdoors.com/ and here's another model: http://www.lancasterarchery.com/shop...oducts_id=1201 I saw these at the PA Outdoor show - they were on bows with long stabilizers and I didn't think they would work too good on a hunting bow (with short ~8") stabilizer? |
RE: bow bi-pod
There was an article in the Bowhunt America magazine about it, they also had an umbrella style blind attached in place of the stabiliser, it looks like a nice setup for turkey hunting especially when you have to move to go after em and don't have time or want to mess with a full size blind. The only thing that sucks about it is the price of the adjustable model, seems kinda pricey to me. The one from lancaster won't work with a short stabiliser.

RE: bow bi-pod
Stealth Archery has a bow holder that sicks into the ground. Jerry sent me one to try out and I liked it. He puts good craftsmanship into all of his products.

RE: bow bi-pod
Vital Bow Gear is making one of the bi pods this year also. I wonder how loud it would be at the shot.

RE: bow bi-pod
The one from Lancaster Archery is used to rest the bow after shooting. I have seen these used on 3D rounds and are used with long stabilizers (2'-3'). Keeps the cams out of the dirt while wating for your next shot or to examine the targets.
The other I have not seen but would be concerned about noise when shooting. |
