Buying a Razortec, is this bad??
I bought a '04 Hoyt Razortec which the shop had marked way down for end of the year close outs. Now I find out that Hoyt is not making this bow in '05, which doesnt matter to me except........
If I ever need parts for the bow or something goes bad on it, will it be hard to get parts now. Or does hoyt change their bows enough, that this is always an issue? Anyone who has a razor, do you all like it? |
RE: Buying a Razortec, is this bad??
All of the Hoyt bows use the same interchangeable parts. Ie... limb pockets, limbs, bolts, washers, etc... You will have no problem getting parts for a razor tec. Even 5 to 10 years down the road.

If your bow has trouble Hoyt would replace it with the 05' equivalent which is the Vipertec.
The have good customer service and will take good care of you. |

I'm in the same boat, got a new '04 Martin Prowler SE for Christmas and its discontinued for '05. I knew it before I bought it though. Went out to get a Bowtech Liberty but shot the Prowler and that was it. I'm not worried at all about parts and you should'nt either.

No other bow brand has the support like Hoyt does... The best support and warranty hands down...
