The Thunderheads should work very well on elk. Just make sure that if you use carbon arrows to also use the UBAR's so that the blades stay nice and tight. If you shoot aluminium you won't need the ubar's and they should do a great job with proper shot placement out of a well tuned bow.

yes Thunderhead will be fine on elk. They have taken just about every animal on the planet and have a solid track record. Good Hunting.
