Laser Sight

Has anyone ever installed a laser sight on a bow, and if so, how did it check out? How was the adjustment made for different yardages?

RE: Laser Sight

In most states using anything that projects an image onto the target is illegal (I assume that you are using it for hunting). I use the EoTech holographic sight. The sight is legal to use here in NJ because nothing is projected out of the sight onto the deer (I checked with my local Fish & Wildlife Law Enforcement before buying it). The cost is comparable to some lower end bows, but in my opinion it's worth every penny.I've only been hunting with a bow for 2yrs ...well, the second season starts Sept 8th here, and it isn't uncommon for me to shoot 2" groups @ 30yrds. I actually shot the knocks off of two arrows earlier this evening. Hey, I was psyched! I'ts better than two in the neck and one in the shoulder!

There are those of you who will jump all over me saying that this is not an incredible accomplishment at such a close distance, but please remember, I'm just starting my 2nd bow season and had never shot one before last year.

Either way, I'm more than pleased with the accuracy and proficiency that it provides me with. You will not be sorry!
