Bohning's Shaft-tite arrow holder
In my budget aware trip to Walmart's sporting goods dept yesterday, I also found this little gadget for < $3. My TM prong rest is not a huge challenge for me, but for $3 I could afford some insurance against that arrow shaft slipping off the rest as I stare down that 10 pt PnY. Question is, is it worth it? Anyone else tried it yet? Bow is in the shop so I haven't had a chance to try to mount it nor test it yet. Thanks.

Got my bow back from the shop. First major problem with the arrow holder: lack of instructions! It is fabricated, I believe, to match up with the sight mount onto the riser. However, my old bow doesn't match up with the pattern anywhere that I can see. And with no pictures indicating how the jaws of the holder really should approach the arrow shaft, this one is going to require some additional thought. You can see it here:
