Winn's freeflight, model 12 I think it is. Ya draw pulling the trigger and then relax when you want to release.

TRU FIRE also makes one that you can use both ways, pulling or relaxing the trigger. I used to use it and found that relaxing the trigger was actually pretty unnatural because your draw arm is already pulling on the string then you have to think about making your finger do something opposite of what the rest of your body is doing. Also it doesn't lock closed when you relax your finger so you better make sure that you keep your finger tight on the trigger or you're going to fire it accidentally. Just more crap that you have to think about doing when you've already got enough going on just trying to shoot your animal.

I was going to buy the Tru-Fire model that allows you to use a release or pull trigger. But my dealer convinced me to by the Winn which is designed only for release trigger.

I bought it along with four or five other (pull type) releases just to try to find one I liked. None of them suit, so I am still looking. Quality and so forth is fine, just is not what I want. I plan to sell on E-bay soon.

Try the Copper John Eagle , it is an awesome 3d/hunting release , good for using back tension or you can pull the trigger. It is setup so you use your middle finger for the trigger and it has a hook for your index finger. It can also be tucked in your sleave when climbing your treestand.

check it out!http://www.copperjohn.com/product.as...7&catcode=1100

the Cascade #8 and #10 both shoot when you let up on the trigger plunger. both can be used as a back tension or not. The #10 can be quickly switched to a regular 'shoot on push' type release also. I order mine from Golden Key Futura!
