ultimate steel
 

I saw that Rocket has made a new fixed blade broadhead, the ultimate steel. Has anyone used or tested this head. I like the short, compact design it has. It looks like it would be very accurate and penetrate very well. Their ad said that it passed through a record hippo, but it's only an ad. Thanks for the opinions.

I have not tested it yet, but I will. It looks like a well flying head that should be pretty tough. I just hope they decide to sharpen the blades better than those of their mechanical heads. I too saw the add, and while I don't dispute what they say, I honestly feel Rocket has the most misleading adds in the broadhead market. You realy have to read between the lines to get the truth.

It will be interesting to test this head. I called them about a week ago and they said they were about two weeks behind on getting them out. I certainly would second 5 Shot's opinion on the advertising issue.
