I don't believe that Mathews sells bows on line, protecting their Pro Shop only business. That seems to be pretty costly for you. You can buy almost new Mathews on Ebay. I've seen current models (Outback, LX, Ovation) on there. Two drawbacks to that are that Mathews resale value is very high to buy used, and you get no warranty. I guess you have to decide if it is worth it to you.

Yeah I suspected as much Joe. Looks like I might have to go for a Hoyt or Bowtech. At least I can get them on line. Any suggestions?

OHHHHH don't make it sound as though BowTech and Hoyt are sub standard bow's, they're every bit as good a bow as Mathew's. Gauranteed.
But if Mathew's is what you want definetly checkout on e-bay you can find new one's on there as well, that some shop's are moving out to make room for thier new line up.

Who sells Hoyt or Bowtec on line ? I thought they had the same policy . I'd like to buy a Bowtec
on line because some of my friends have had some problems with the local retailer

I dont believe you can buy Hoyt or Bowtech on-line either. As far as ebay goes , it depends who you purchase the bow from. I know of at least two people who purchased Mathews off ebay and got the full warranty with the bow.

You can buy a bowtech online from a authorized dealer if you live so many miles from a dealer. They call it "Bowtech in the Boonies" program. http://www.huntersfriend.com/locatedealer.htm

I have a dealer that is about 20 mi away from me but they have shafted a few of my friends "not on bowtech stuff " but it does not really make me want to try them . I have a great dealer
about 3 mi away but they don't carry bowtech . But they do carry Matthews , Hoyt and AR . So If I can't get one on line I might just skip the hassle and go with one of the other 3 . I think I could be happy with any one of the four

You can't buy Mathews online ,but you can buy hoyt and bowtech. www.archeryexperts.com sells these bows. If you go to the clearence section and click on bows and then compound bows, you can get some awesome deals. Hoyt XTEC and RazorTec for $499. I just bought a 2003 Darton Rampage regular price $569 for $279. This is a great site. Good Luck!

the real trouble with buying online is you don't know how well people take of there bows. it may have been dry fired and would never know until thing go to hell in a hand bag. the only thing i see wrong with bowtech is if the bow is so good why does it have rubber all over it? looks to me like a little redesign is in order.
