Optimum NFAA Indoor Bow Set-up?
I have recently acquired a very nice target recurve & am curious as to best set-up of it as far as limb tiller & brace height. The rig is a PSE Intrepid riser (25") & a set of long 38# Sky Conquest limbs. I shoot split finger release, & the bow has an existing 1/8" positive tiller. I'm getting great arrow flite, so is this tiller ok? Now for the brace ht...I'm sure the string is too short (i'd guess 1" short due to the odd overall[71'] length of the bow). The brace is nearly 10"! What is the recommended brace for these limbs? Where can a guy get endless loop Dynaflite strings made to order? This combo should be a great indoor bow after I get it tuned properly, & any experienced help will be genuinely appreciated! Thanks!

Arrowsmit, if you have FX limbs on order the brace height will be 8-1/2 to 8-3/4 which is shorter then most recurve brace heights. My tiller is sitting now @ 1/4 longer for the top limb or 7" top limb 6-3/4 bottom limb. Anywhere between 1/8 and 1/4 is good. Your string sounds a little long to me if you have a 71" tip to tip as I would be thinking more along the lines of 70" because you have long limbs and a long riser. I would think a few twist of the string would be in order. Ohh arrowsmit your FX limbs will come with a string.

Hey Dylan, thnx bro! I meant to say that the AMO length is 71" because Sky risers are (an odd) 24" where the PSE and most others are 25". The limbs are marked 70".
