This sight looks very interesting to me. I think it would be a great low light sight. My peep sight has failed me on several occasions, so I am looking for something that will let me peer into the shadows at the end of the day without blocking so much light.
Does anybody use one of these?

Well, VC, looks to me like the only way to legitimize this thread is to add a review. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> So here goes...
Frustrations with a peep (regular tube peep, C-Peep, Shurz-a-Peep) let me to try the Hind Site. Installation is quite simple. Remove your front sight, then put the Hind Site plate between the riser and your sight mount and put the screws back in. Then adjust the Hind Site so that your anchor point remains the same. Once you get it close, minor adjustments can be made with your front sight. Since the sight plain is shorter, finer adjustments are needed. It seems that micro-adjustable front sights would be a great combination with this sight. The 20 yard (or whatever you want) pin is what you use to set your Hind Sight. When shooting the 30 yard pin, you keep the 20 centered in the Hind Sight and just bring it above the target until the 30 is on the target with the 20 centered in the Hind Sight. It sounds complicated, but it is not and it is easy to get used to since your anchor point naturally wants the 20 yard pin centered.
Con's:
1. The plate could be heavier. But that is why they make other models with more adjustability and heavier aluminum plates. Some models include the front sight.
2. Fine adjustment of the Hind sight is somewhat difficult. That is why I recommend making fine adjustments with the front sight.
3. The adjustment nuts need to be nice and snug so they don't work loose. I used a plyers and it hasn't budged, but I also cannot loosen then with fingers now.
Pro's:
1. Bye Bye peep. I don't miss it whatsoever. As I come to my anchor point, the Hind Sight verifies that I hit the right spot.
2. I've experimented quite a bit with different grips since I got the Hind Sight. It easily shows if you are torquing.
3. The price is right. $20 for the basic model.
4. Great support. I had a question about my particular bow, and got a call back from support within two hours.
5. You look through the Hind Sight, not off then back ala No-Peep.
6. My groups tightened up, mostly due to a more consistent grip and no torquing.
7. Of course, the small speed gain from having no peep on your string. My string has a string loop, and two small string silencers. That's it.
8. The crosshairs glow in the dark for several hours. It really lights up. Now if I could just get a bit of that glow back down the fiber line to my front sight...
So, yes, I like the Hind Sight. It is what I've been looking for, and if I did buy something else... it would be just maybe a different model of Hind Sight.

When I went to shoot that Mountain 30 the other day I also got to try out the Hind site and NO Peep. The owner of the shop let me shoot his Mav. quad that he set up for an elk hunt and it had the no peep on it. He also let me shoot his son's bow a mav. recurve and it had the Hind site on it. These are my opinions on both of them.
I personally liked the hind site better. It seemed more natural for me when I drew the bow back. The one I shot did not look like the one in the picture above though. It was longer and the adjustment for the rear recticle was different. Maybe it was a newer version or something I don't know. Then again, mabe I am remembering it wrong? Any way I like how it would let me set my sites farther away from my riser also. I was thinking about making some kind of bracket to do this any way. Actaully the hind site does not seem like it would be hard to fabricate if you wanted to. The recticle also gloes in the dark, great for low light shooting. It cost just under $60 at my shop.
The No Peep seemed more accurate and much better at revealing torque. But was also harder to see and get lined up perfect. It also wasn't lined up with the pins on the site, so I had to look away and refocus from one to the other. I also had a tendancy to want to shoot with the No Peep. You know, I tried to use it as a pin! Not a good thing. I could see myself doing this in the excitement of a hunt. Maybe once you get used to it, it would not be that much of an issue. Due to the touchinous(new word) of it, I can see where it would be a pain to set up. On the other hand it has the potential to be much more accurate than the hind site or a large peep. The owner did say his only complaint about it was that it faded in low light before his pins did. But he was working on hooking up a fiber optic light to it that would solve the problem. His was the older model with the bubble level in it. He charges $40 for it installed. He said he has only had two come back the whole time he has carried them, and both were from people that tried to put them on themselves and did it wrong. Like said in previous reviews and posts, it must be esier to do with two people. He said it does not take long at all to put one on and set it up when both him and the shooter are there to do it.
I am glad I got to shoot these two devices on simular bows like I did. Had I just looked at them in the packages I may never had thought about trying either on of them. After using them, I can honestly say I would not mind having either one of them on my bow. As a matter of fact, I may buy both. I might buy the hind site for the bow I have now, and get the No peep when I buy my new bow.
Those are my opinions if any one cares.

Just checked out hindsites web site. The one I shot was the new Extreme. That's why it looked different. I would suggest spending the extra cash on this product. It looks much stronger than the other models.

I went and bought one yesterday, so far so good. Give me a few days or a week and I will know more. It was pretty easy to set up. Deffinately go with the more expensive Extreme model if you get one. Mine was $57 dollars from my shop.

Here is the Extreme. The web site lists a price of $49.95 + shipping.
It obviously has a heavier bracket than my model, and probably would negate the buzz that tech support said a few people had reported using the cheapest sight. They recommended making a thin plastic gasket to isolate the sight, or I bet a small Simms Saver would work well also. I haven't noticed this on mine. I agree with Paul, go with the Extreme or one of the other heavier models.
Wouldn't it be great to try every product on two identical bows? Now I'm waiting to see how it turns out on your own bow, Paul.

Just from looking at the picture...It looks like the silver bolt that is used to adjust the elevation and windage might bend easily if you bumped the bow.
Does if feel stronger than it looks?
