Default Montana Black Gold Grand Slam Hunter

Specs:

Materials: 6061 T6 machined aluminum

Adjustment: horiz. & vert. calibrated gang

Pins: 4 Black Fin Fiber Optic

Finish: Black

Comments: This is one of those products that dosn't really look "impressive" as far as sights is concerned BUT it is a very functional and durable hunting sight. I would highly suggest it to anyone that is looking for a good solid hunting sight.

Here is how I rate it with 1 being the worst & 10 being the best.

Durability: 10

Adjustibility: 7 (does not have micro adjustment for ultra fine tuning)

Lowlite Performance: 8.5 (I can see them just about till you can't see to shoot anymore) Note: green & yellow show up much better than red which does fade out faster.

Additional Comments: I wish this site came with 5 pins instead of 4 and I wish they would include the extra bubble level with it. Other than that I have no complaints & I am very happy with the product. The lifetime warranty is a nice bonus & includes the Black Fin pins so what more could you ask for?

Moonge, don't forget their warranty. It's great! If anything breaks they'll send you new parts!

Totally agree with everything said so far. Been using mine 4 years now. The red pin definitely fades faster, and doesn't look as crisp as the others while aiming, kinda fuzzy. I used my red one for a 50 yard pin, since I only shoot that distance during backyard practice.

And they're not joking about the lifetime warranty on the pins. I broke one off on a stout tree branch while hoisting my bow up to the stand last October. Sent it back with a note explaining how I broke it, and that I would understand if the warranty didn't cover that kind of mistreatment. One week later I had a new pin, and a reminder that their sight pins are warrantied REGARDLESS of how much abuse they are put through.
