Bohning Blazer Vanes

Anybody try these and have any success? I have read several reviews in magezines and all have been favorable.

My buddy uses those. They make a funky sound..but he says they fly great.

I've been experimenting with them for the past month or so and so far like what I'm seeing. Started shooting them with field points and compared them to regular 4" vanes and then to the NAP Quik Spins. Have started shooting broadheads with them and can't tell any difference in flight and impact with the Blazers vs the others. Think I will use them this fall while hunting.

I found them to stabilize a broadhead arrow somewhat better than straight offset 4"vanes. With one of my bows, this was not too noticeable until I was shooting at 40 yards. I don't really notice any more noise than other vanes, but I have heard others mention about them making a noise. I can't hear it with my 52 yr. old ears![8D]

I have recently started using them and have found they live up to their claims both with field points and fixed blade heads. I have not experienced any noise or other problems. They also help my FOC since they weigh approx 22gr less then my four inch vanes. The only thing I can see that could be considered a draw back is that they are to short to impose any helical twist to them.
