Bowtech Pro38

Frogive me if this has been gone over. I tried the search feature, and surprisingly...nothing came up with what I was looking for. If someone knows where I can get the info please provide a link. Anyways, here's my question:

Who has some personal experience with the Pro38? Is it really as fast, as it's supposed to be? How's the draw, smooth, or not? What would be a resonable price to expect to pay for one set up with a Flatliner sight, a quiver, Whisker buiscut rest, and stabilizer? Thanks in advance guys!

RE: Bowtech Pro38

Well i might have one:):D

I love my pro38!!!!!!!! I got mine from the owner of my local bow shop. He has done wonders with it before i got it in my hands. He had won one of the biggest 3D tourny in Mass with it, and countless others[&:] I got mine for $200 i think. Try to get the older one like mine with the handle positioned right in the middle of the whole bow. the new ones have it alittle bit low. It can be a really fast bow if you set it up for speed but i dont have it set up for that (strictly a hunting bow) I LOVE MINE so hopfully if you get one you should have great luck with it

Just ordered this one, it came with all those goodies included, and free shipping! The whole package was $579.00, did I get a good deal? I think so, the acc. alone were right at $314.00 by themselves.

Sounds like you bought a package from HuntersFriend.com. You'll have to let us all know how it shoots and about there set up, service, and customer service. I just checked their website and noticed that the Pro 38 package for $579 is a 2002 model not a 2004. Bowtech stopped making that model this year so there are no 2004 model Pro 38's. You might call them and straighten that out with them, don't want you to be misled. Here's the link.

You are right, BUT, at least they were made in Feb. 2004. A special run for the bow-package deals at huntersfriend.com.

I still think I got a good deal so far.

Here ya go wolf!

In a nutshell, it's more accurate than I am.;) Those guys are apparently good to deal with, and I am still pleased.

The bow is a real zipper, smooth, smooth draw, and solid wall at the end. The 38 is way faster than my old Hoyt, and it's at 72#s. Paying attention to form, and taking time with the shots, the bow(not necessarily me;)) is PINPOINT ACCURATE.
