Im a big guy too 6ft-5in and 275lbs. Mine came with the seat pad, but like I said its been a couple years. Dont forget to spend a few extra $ and get the rachet strap

I use 3 Gorilla King Kong stands I bolted on a 5 feet long chain and a [S] hook for extra safety to wrap around tree. Also use a rachet strap too. Thats 3 things holding stand in tree rock solid.

I have one.the steel one, great stand and like everyone says the strap device that came with it is really junky and hard to work espeially in a tree when it is cold and wearing gloves. I cut the staps off and bought a good ratchet strap. Works good for me. They are a solid and qiet stand
