Lower draw weight

I am looking to lower my poundage from 70# to 62# on my FX. How many turns on the limbs bolts per pound of reduction? I assume lefty-loosy? When doing the bottom limb is it lefty when the orientation of the bow is reversed?

Will my 2315s still work at 62# with 30 inch draw? Thanks for any guidance.

RE: Lower draw weight

The general rule is 3 lbs per 1 turn of the limb bolts. To lower your draw weight, turn the bolts counter-clockwise.

BT- Just a note that the direction that you turn your limb screw is counter clockwise, no matter which end of your bow is in the air.
