Overhead roofs

Anyone here ever have to use one of those portable overhead:eek: roofs for their stands?
and if so do they hold up as fas as wind blowing them around?..Do they work well for keeping out the rain off your back[:@] ?

I think they are good. I have one and I love it. As long as you set it up correctly it will work wonders.

I have about a half dozen of the umbrella style, unsure of who makes them and two that are full frames and they all work great!!

They are about as stable as any umbrella out there. That's basically all they are is an umbrella that attaches to a tree. They may be good for a light rain but you're still gonna get wet if a down pour comes along.

BTW, all roofs are overhead.;):D Unless you are standing on your head.;)

Check out Buckwing Products they have a 67" umbrella that wraps aroung the tree. It's a double canopy design that helps it stay on the tree in wind. Folds to 21" for your pack.
