Best Waterproof Jacket?
I`m wondering what everyones opinion on waterproof bowhunting jackets is. I need it for bowhunting moose in the end of September so it can`t be too heavy. It must be quiet and able to take day after day of rainy weather and not let me down. I`ve looked at a couple of Brownings but always keep an open mind. Any suggestions?

RE: Best Waterproof Jacket?
Check out Cabelas Revolution Fleece pullovers. I use one, along with the pants, as my early season rain outfit. Price is relatively reasonable especially considered to Browning and the quality is top notch.

Cabelas MT050 gore-tex is top quality and durable. You can pack it into its own pocket as long as it does not have the scent lok lining.

I'm on my second browning gortex jacket (acutally the 4 in 1 parka with the liner removed). I've been happy--very quiet--very water proof--well thougth out. I'm on my second one because the damn thing shrunk:D:D:D Couldn't wear it anymore with the liner but still works perfectly as a rain jacket!:):):)

I have the Cabelas Elite Fleece 4 in 1 parka and the bibs to go with it. I use if for bow and rifle and I realy like it. I would definitly get Gortex or Dry Plus (same thing only Cabelas brand) for water proofing on anything. I have a Cabelas Dry fowl cadura nylon 4 in 1 parka and bibs that are dry plus aslo

RE: Best Waterproof Jacket?
I have a Cabelas MT050 Insulated one piece outfit and to be honest with you I have a hard time telling a difference between it and the revolution fleece....cept for the price. :)
Either would be a good choice. |
