Whats The Best Laser Rangefiner???
I will be getting a new rangefinder for hunting, it will be used for bow and rifle. It will even be used for long preditor hunting distances. I am considering the Leica, the nikon and the bushnell. I am leaning toward the leica because I am told it is the best. Whats youre opinions. The bushnells are around $300.00 and the leica is around $400.00. I will pay the extra for the lecia if it worth it. Thanks for all and any advice!! Bill

I bought the Bushnell 800 and I find it a little bulky for bowhunting but it does the job that I want it to do.My buddy has the Nikon and I think it's more like what I should have bought but oh well, the Nikon I think it's a 400 and it work's great and fit's in his pocket he paid more for it than I paid for my 800.I have no experience with the Lieca only what I've read .
bushnell has smaller model's but I got a great deal at the time on the 800 and they didn't have the more compact model's at that time.

I don't know if it's the best, but my Leica 800 sure does everything that I want it to do. Nothing to get in the way. You push the button once and a red square appears.....you push it again when your target is centered and the distance to that target is displayed. That is all that I want, like I said, nothing to get in the way.

I have had a Bushnel YP600 and now a Scout !! Don't like the Scout much at all !
My buddy has the Leica 800 and it is far superior IMO !! It is faster ,more precise, and the red led can be seen in low light !! Go with the Leica !

i have used the leica rangefinders and really like them they have enough magnification for long distances however they do not keep you from seeing whats close either if you want quality go for the leica they are great rangefinders.

I have only every owned Tasco and Bushnell rangefinders and have been entirely happy with both of them. However, I would probably go the Nikon route if I had to pick another because of how much they have impressed me with their binos.
Can't say anything about the Leica as I have never owned any of their equipment.
