magnus stinger vs. bear razorhead
 

well, after a few years using spitfires, i am considering going back to a cut-on-contact broadhead. if i do, i've narrowed down my choices to either the magnus stinger four blade or the bear super razorhead. is one a better head than the other? i'm thinking no, but i thought i would ask...

Well the stingers are sharper and more versital. You can replace the blades or sharpen them. They are also made to a higher standard. That said I would feel very comfortable using the bear razorheads on any game. One thing to look at though is when they were made. The newest versions don't have the same quality that the older ones do. I personaly prefer the stingers however.

thx for the info, 5 shot. i really couldn't see a difference between the two except for the replaceable blades on the magnus. but the fact that you say the newer razorheads have lost some quality compared to the older ones has made up my mind. :) years gone by i had hunted with razorheads with good success, but had heard rumors that the newer ones weren't the same quality as the older ones...so, you confirmed what i had been hearing...
