Shorter nocks for use with string loop?
Does anyone use or have shorter nocks to use with a string loop? Regular sized nocks seem to get in the way while attaching my release.
I used to have something called SpeedNocks or something like that. They were much shorter and lighter, yet worked great on the string. I have since lost the package they came in, and I only have two left and I want some more. Cabela's used to handle them, but not anymore. Little Help? |

Cabelas still has them. For some reason I can't find them by simply clicking on their nocks link but the catalog number is MR-41-3078. Enter this number into the "catalog quick order" box and that will take you to another page. Just hit enter again and that will take you to them.
Or I could just post the link for you huh?;) I guess I'll be a nice guy. Never say I never did anything for you.;):D http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te..._requestid=378 |
RE: Shorter nocks for use with string loop?
I remember those things. They work OK,you say ??.The site claims you gain 4 fps.How is that possible ???.They would have to make your arrow around 20 grns.lighter to get 4 fps.

RE: Shorter nocks for use with string loop?
The "theory" behind the speed gain is that there is less of a friction fit to these nocks and so there is less resistance when your arrow comes off the string, thus a +4 fps speed gain.
