Matthews, Hoyt, PSE -- What to buy?

I am currently shooting a PSE Furore 3. I enjoy this bow but have recently gotten into 3D and would like a faster bow. I am looking for any advice or recommendations on a good all around bow for treestand hunting and 3D. I am considering the Outback and XT1000. What else should I consider?

I have an Hoyt and i haven't had any regrets thus far. I'd say go with whatever you feel most comfortable shooting. Good luck :)

Try different bows from different companies..some members of this forum only talk about hoyt, mathews and bow tech..Several companies make bows just as good or better at fair prices but unfortunatly don't get talked about much.

I recently tried out the outback and it is a great bow. It has a really long brace height and is extremely menuverable due to it being so short. I am seriously considering buying an outback due to it being without a shadow of a doubt the best bow that I have shot

You owe it to yourself to try out these bows too. Especially the Parker.;):D

Actually, the XT1000 are a style of limb found on some of the Hoyt bows like the Vipertec and Xtec.

If you are looking for speed then I suggest you take a gander at the Bowtech line of bows. Pound for pound they offer some of the fastest production bows made. Ofcourse, get a feel for every bow by visiting a shop in your area.
