drop away/fall away rests

Which is the best one for the money? How quiet are they? What do yall reccommend?
I'd like to step up the accuracy of my groups.

I use the MZE on both my hunting bow and target bow.

Yeah it looks complicated and ugly but it is the best fallaway I have used.

All you will need to do is put some Moleskin on the pick up arm, deadly quite.

I just got a trophy taker and after being totally against the drop away movement this rests performance convinced me otherwise. This is an awesome product worth looking at.

I just put the Trophy Ridge Dropzone on my new Vipertec and I don't have any complaints about it. I know people who also shoot with this rest and love theirs too!

For a Bowtech Bow. Dalton 2000 or 5000 drop-away

Bowhunterchris!!

So you feel the drop zone works well with Hoyt?

I will be putting whichever rest I decide on, on my Hoyt Magnatech.

Another quick question:

When the "rubber stuff" that lines the actual rest wears away and you start getting the scratching sound of carbon on metal when you draw your bow, what do you do then. If you put felt on the rest, it eventually wears thin and gradually affects the launch point of the arrow in relation to the sights. Right??? Then you replace it and it all starts over again.

Just wandering!

357,

I don't think you'll find a better fallaway then the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone. I've shot the DZ's on several different rigs over the last year and they work GREAT on the TECs. I hunted with a DZ equipped CyberTec this past fall and have been shooting the new '04 XTEC since November and can't say enough about the rests performance. From the spring Turkey blind thru an entire season of 3Ds to the Deer stand and they have performed flawlessly everytime. This is certainly a product to take a serious look at.

For an economical drop away, the one of the best is the TKO from Golden Key

If willing to spend a bit more then the New Infiniti drop away is great. Another is the one I use which is a Royal Hunter converted to drop away. I use the Horse Shoe launcher and love it. You can check them out at GKF's home page:

You got to check out the Golden Key TKO Dropaway.
Why_ ok first,
It is Bullet Proof (no Plastic),lightweight and adjustable to fit even the new
Bowtechs. and it does not make contact anf rip fletching.
Also you can change it to a Springloaded rest or a fixed launcher rest in seconds.
Try that with the others.

I used the trap door this past season and had no problems. It's very easy to use and uses no cables or strings.

RE: drop away/fall away rests

I shot the trap door and must say i am sold. no cables or push buttons. just bolt it on and set it up. Done. Inertia releases the arrow rest.

Happen to see your question and i have been doing my fair share of testing. I can honestly say for the money i would have to admit that the
apa twister has easily been the most amazing drop away rest i have ever seen let alone used. It completely encloses the arrow hence you will never have your arrow fall off your rest ever again!!! Not to mention that upon drop away you have zero fletching contact!!!
Give it a try you wont be dissapointed!!
