RE: Trophy Taker or Trap Door????
I've never used a Trap Door so i don't know anything about that one but i've been using a Trophy Taker for several years now and it's a great rest imo. I have one on both my bows and they have both been flawless in every way. One is the Shakey Hunter and one has the Original launcher. I would highly recommend the Trophy Taker to anyone, great product!

RE: Trophy Taker or Trap Door????
What Mykey said. I have no experience with the Trap Door but, based on the comments I read on the web, I installed a Shakey Hunter on my Martin. It functions perfectly, probably because it is such a simple design.
As a aside, I recently began fletching my own arrows and called Trophy Taker to see if they had any recommendation as to cock vane location. They recommended the arrow be fletched with cock vane up. |

Chalk up another one for the trophy taker ,I have used one for a few years as well and it work's great even in bad weather.I have friends who use thr trap door and they really like them as well.I guess the decision is which you prefer and either choice you won't go wrong.

RE: Trophy Taker or Trap Door????
I use the trophy taker. It works perfectly for me. I own three bows and all three have trophy takers. My PSE Mach 11 for target archery has one and I have never had any problems. I love its simple, rugged design and the fact that it draws silently.
