Anyone use the Kwikee Bracket Caddy to hold your quiver

Kwikee makes a Kwikee Bracket Caddy that will hold your quiver while in your tree stand. It screws into the tree and then you clip on your quiver to the bracket. Has anyone used one of these? Do you have to buy the Kwikee bracket and the Kwikee Caddy? Can you use this for other brands of quivers?

I use a quikee quiver so I bought a bracket. Found it was a pain screwing it into the tree each time. It would probably be ok for a permanent stand. Since I use mostly climbers, I find that a bungee cord with a series of loops tied in it, to adjust for different sized trees is cheaper and more efficient.

A less expensive and time consuming way to hold any quiver in your tree is to take along a bungee cord. Rap the bungee around a limb and attach each end to the quiver. You've got you a quiver holder that is much more universal and cost 1.95.

i got it this year it worked out great ,you do have to buy the quiver bracket also , but it was worth it ,i used to put a hook in the tree and hang it from that ,when it was even a little windy it made too much noise so i invested the eight bucks for the whole shooting match , i was a little leary about it a first but it works really well !!

If your quiver is a Kwikee, and you take it off while
in your treestand....buy one, you'll be glad you did;).
You need to buy both pieces, the bracket & the caddy.
A couple of years ago they came together as one
piece, now, they sell them separately???

I've used one since '99...the only time I've ever
had a chance to get a 2nd arrow off at mature buck.
After rattling in a real brute, my arrow flew just under
his chest...he ran toward my tree and just
stood there[:-]...my quiver was hanging on a nail,
as I pulled the 2nd arrow from my quiver the
remaining arrow and my quiver fell to the ground[:o][:@]
....and off he ran:(. If I'd spent the few $$$ for a
tree mount/bracket caddy...he'd be on the wall.

Also, not sure if it will accept other quivers? Call
Cabela's and ask to speak with a product specialist,
they should be able to answer your question.

I've had mine for over a year and like it. It is a hassle screwing it in everytime but I find that its well worth the extra 45 sec. it takes. Buy one, you'll like it!

the bracket is a pain to use and is illegal to screw into a tree on public land in new jersey as i am sure most states. i used mine for a while though. i did paint or dip the one end in white paint so i could tell in the dark which way is up so it was easier to clip my quiver in the dark. since i have gotten better at placing my ladder stands i usually have a nice branch or 2 to lay my quiver across. i think it camos better too doing it that way than using the bracket. i also switched over from the bulky 6 arrow to the 3 arrow quickie kwiver and they sell a cheap insert that hold mechanical heads like the spitfires ect... and works great.

I use one and like the idea. I don't mind taking the few extra seconds to screw it in. I guess I bought the one that came with the caddy, it is black. The problem is that it is a little small, and it is really hard to get the quiver out of it. Other than that, I like it.

I've used the caddy and liked it. Didn't figure it was too much of a chore to screw into the tree. However, I have been using a Pine Ridge "Hunt-N-Gear" which is a belt with 3 hooks on it . (http:www.dubro.com) I will have to say that it would be possible to have the quiver come off when trying to get a 2nd arrow our under pressure. I also use an extra bracket on a "Sidewinder" making it into a hip quiver - the few times I shoot 3-D.

I fastened mine to the belt that passes through my safety harness and straps to the tree. When I am safe with my harness on, I can hang up my quiver.
