Boy I thought I had a new bow picked out being the mathews Lx (which seems alittle top heavy) And I picked up Hoyt Xtec and that felt pretty good! As anyone delt with this Hoyt or any Hoyt! Need to know the pros and cons. anyinfo please

the only thing i have heard about hoyt's are the cams dont shoot evenly with each other when released

I would disregard the last post it is unfounded and just untrue.

I have a cam 1/2 hoyt and it shoots awsome. It is a tack driver. The Xtec is a top of the line bow as is the LX. It is a medium length bow with a good brace height so it is a forgiving bow. It also IBO's at over 300 fps. The TEC risers and simms products work awsome the bows shoot shock and vibration free. Either bow is a great bow the x tec or the mathews. Guess you'll just have to shoot em' some more to decide which is better for you!! Good luck what ever you decide.

Totally false. The Hoyts were the winningest bows in 2003 in all other aspects of archery other than 3d. You don't shoot 90 meter FITA events on a world competition level with junk. The cam and 1/2 now holds more world records in international competition than any other cam. Mathews is obviously a top quality bow with an incredible amount of 3d wins.

The funny thing is, I don't shoot Hoyt, but the results don't lie. They are a high quality bow and a great bow company.

They are both really good bows! Shoot both of them, shoot them both through the chronograph and pick the one that feels the best! thay are both very good bows!
