Your Favorite Type of Rest and Sight

I would like to get everyone's opinion on what their favorite arrow rest and bow sight is. I am looking to get both of these products for my bow and would appreciate anyones insight.

Whisker Bisquit QS Deluxe, TruGlu Eye-Site 2015 5-pin

Both have been utterly reliable for me.

I am shooting a spot Hogg Real Deal. Have a bo-doodle rest, and although it is a very nice rest, I think I'm gonna switch to some kind of dropaway, maybe the trophy taker.

So far (for hunting) I am happiest with a 1 pin adjustable sight (Impact Cosmic -but there are other nice ones) and a Wisker biscuit QS Deluxe rest (shooting arrows w/4" feathers at a slight offset -not a full helical) !!

Can't go wrong with a MZE rest.I've tried a bunch of sights, and it seems I always come back to the HHA Optimizer Lite,a great single pin, bright, adjustable sight...Bob

trestand,

How come you wrote my post? I like the same thing. Zero Effect and Optimizer Lite 5000.

I too have had many rests and sights over the last 30 years. My second choice on a rest is the Star Hunter. My sight can vary as long as it doesn't have plastic.

Muzzy Zero Effect is a very nice rest if your looking for a drop away.

I can't seem to find a sight i'm in love with yet for one reason or another. I've tried a few different ones over the last few months. Right now I'm using a Tru Glo sight of some sorts. Haven't hunted with it yet so I guess I'll find out how it works next year in hunting situation's for now I'll try it on 3D shoots.

I liked my Cosmic Trio sight from Impact Archery, but the pins would only give me aprox 5 yards difference in shooting difference. When I shot a doe in early November all those pins that close bugged me. If you only want one sight pin check out the Cosmic's.

I bought my sights at Cabelas and actually used them and tried them out and if I didn't like it I just returned it with all the packaging and tried a different one. Worked out well for me.

Good Luck

The first thing I look for in my equipment is simplicity and ruggedness. I have been shooting with a Spot-Hogg Right On sight and a Trophy Taker Shaker Hunter rest. Both have been reliable, excellent performers.
