New 2004 PSE Nova L3 Bow/ Is this a good bow

I am looking into getting this bow for xmas and was wondering if anyone owns one or has shot one before. It has the Lightning 3 cam and looks like it would be a good bow for a beginner such as myself. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The PSE Nova is one of the "best bangs for the buck" type of bows. It has been around, in one form or another, for quite some time now. The Lightning cam, and its variations, has also been a steady producer over the years. I would think that says something for this bow combination and would not hesitate to recommend it if someone was looking for a relatively inexpensive, decent quality single cam setup.
