Hey Alan,
I shoot Carbon Express out of my Champion with thunderhead 125's. I love the carbons. I'm thinking of switching to expandables for deer but would keep the fixed blades for moose.
You should go down to Height's and talk to Travis or Ron about arrow and broadhead choose. I've found them to be very helpfull.

Cyrus, I too was considering changing to mechanicals and my son went and bought me 125gr RM Snypers( I was saying that they looked impressive) for a christmas present. I can't wait to try them out. I live in Transcona and shoot at Heartland as I am rarely out in St.James. I find Ron and son Jason are very knowledgable and am considering joining a club there. Oh yeah, I'm sure they know there stuff just as well. I used to live out that way and shot there a few times. Now I'm closer to Height's.
They can probably set you up for what's best for your needs.
Do they have 3-d nights at Heartland still?

I use the easton ACC arrows those are great a little pricey, but if you want good equipment your gonna have to pay the price.. good luck boys

Carbon Express with a rocket aerohead 100grain. I shoot #68 with a thirty inch draw length. I use 2" cutting diameter;)
