bow question how much is it worth and is it worth it?
 

i picked up a bow at a yard sale for like 2 bucks its a recurve stemmler hawk it looked old so i picked it up does anyone know how old it is and what it might be worth and the other thing i wanted to know was i have a chance to pick up a bow i think its a hunter for 20 buck would it be worth it im new to this and looking to get in to bow hunting for next year and would like to start getting things now but dont want to buy a gunk bow if its not worth the gas to go get it thanks for your time

I don' t know all the details, but I believe the Stemmler is a pretty old bow.

My suggestion to you is to go to a pro-shop in your area. If you' re set on buying an old used bow, you still need to know some things like what your draw length is, how much draw weight you can handle, whether or not you want to use a release or shoot with fingers, etc. There' s a lot of things you need to know, and look for, long before you buy a used bow. Especially if you' re inexperienced.
