Broadheads

Okay so I am trying to get some view points on some broadheads. The ones i use right now are not as available as the were. I am thinking of switch and haven't decided if i was going with mechanical or fixed. What do you guys recommend, what brands are good, what grains would you use if you were me. I shoot a diamond edge 29" draw and 60#. Thanks for any responses.

Rage Extremes 100 grains, I chisel tips cause nothing stops them Ive shot through a pig got down picked it up the same arrow and shot another one. I have a 29 inch draw and shoot 70 pounds, I used to shoot muzzy 100 grain 3 blades. They are super super durable and will do the job on any animal.

Back when I hunted with a compound, before I tore my shoulder up, I had excellent results with Muzzy, Thunderheads and Montec. All were 3 blade designs, 125 gr. I did not try mechanical broadheads. I now hunt with a cross bow and use the Montecs. So far, excellent results.

I suggest with your set up using 100 gr Slick Trick Viper Trick. These BHs fly true, have solid ferrules and their profile will give you good penetration. I would hesitate using a big cut mechanical with your set up. Especially if hunting from a treestand. You may get decent pentration but you may not get a pass thru leaving the possibility of a less than good blood trail. Even though you will have a lot of internal damage.
