Bow Keeper review

Product Review for the Bow Keeper from Hunters Logic:

I have to admit that when this product arrived, I laughed and thought this is never going to do what I needed it to do. I expected it to fail from the onset. I had previously purchased and intended to mount a Hip Bone (Ball & Socket type) Holder System to my Bow on the recommendations from my two hunting buddies. Upon comparing the two products I wrote this honest assessment:
The Bow Keeper does all that it claims. It accommodates either right or left handed hunters.
It will clip anywhere, to my shirt, belt or jacket making it usable during any season or weather, and is super quiet to attach.
While sitting, I can attach it to my chest to keep it from sliding off while I glass, rattle, range or have a drink. This is much better than setting my bow down in the dirt/snow or leaning it against a tree because it kept my bow clean, dry and always at the ready.
While standing and even walking the vise grip like teeth are sturdy and strong enough to hold my 4 pound bow while never piercing my clothing, freeing my hands to clear limbs or use the GPS or a compass freely. It also allows me to flip the bow over while walking to avoid the uncomfortable feeling of rubbing the quiver against my legs.
Up in my tree stand. It keeps the bow from falling if I accidentally bump it, while also eliminating the wide sweeping movements of retrieving the bow off a screw-in hook, reducing the chances of being busted by the deer.
Because of its small size, it is never in the way or heavy and I didn’t need to attach anything to my bow causing balance, obstruction or damage issues to my setup.
This product is 1/3 the cost of the Hip Bone and much more versatile. Using a clever thought or two, I can use it to hold any number of accessories as well. I will be buying a couple extra Bow Keepers just for that purpose.
If I were forced to give a negative comment about this product, it would only be this: When you hang the bowstring from the hook, it needs to be in a spot on the nocking area so that it cannot slip along the string. It causes unbalance and depending on the spot, could slide up far enough to hit and disrupt the peep sight. However if you have a “D-Loop” this is not a problem.
I give the Bow Keeper 5 Stars. Try it and you will recommend it to your hunting buddies as well.
