Lighted nocks
Does anyone use " ARCHERS FLAME" lighted nocks, if so what do you think of them. I think I will try them.

RE: Lighted nocks
I was wondering about lighted nocks too. I think I am going to try them and lighted feathers. I saw them in a hunting mag.

I' ve got the Archers Flame and the Lum-e-nock and the Archers flame is brighter but I like the Lumenock better. It is easy to use and still is bright enough for me.

Here' s a thread that was running awhile ago. I' ve been using the Lumenocks & plan on having atleast 2 in my quiver at all times.

RE: Lighted nocks
I shoot the Tracer Products lighted nocks. I liked the design of them over the Lum e Nok brand. They are awesome. All the guys I hunt with like them. They are especially cool at dusk & dawn. I shot my first deer with them this weekend, and even though it was full daylight I could see them easily. I can' t wait to shoot one at dusk/dawn. I wll say they definitely affect your FOC though. I shoot a relatively long and heavy arrow, so it didn' t affect my flight as bad as someone shooting a short light arrow. For the record I shoot ACC 3/60' s 30" long, 4" feathers, EZE Crest wraps and 100 grain points. My arrows weight 432 grains w/o the lighted nocks and 460 grains with.

Are these like the new Savage Glow nocks? The Savage' s are glow in the dark. The others actually have a battery & light-up when shot. http://www.burtcoyote.com./ |
