Another API fan here, I love the bowhunter.

Everyone seems to like the Lone Wolf stand so I tried one that belongs to my buddy and let me tell you it was nice but the straight seat was not very comfortable.
I will stick with my bowhunter as a matter of fact if anyone has a extra API bowhunter they dont use anymore let me know. I would love to have another one.

Neither stand makes any noise. Just me.

Guys,
API (Paul Meeks) was bought out a few years back by Outland Sports. Outland sports has gone bankrupt and was bought by the Koplin company. Koplin did not buy the API line. My guess is because of a few lawsuits out because of falls. Word has it that BassPro and Cabelas have bought rights to the name and have been selling stands made overseas under the API name. Right now, those are the only places to get API.

API SUCKS GET A SUMMIT

GO DEEP HUNT HARD.

What exactly is so bad about them ? Everyone knows that the Summit stands have an easier cable lock system but it pretty much ends there in my opinion. Honestly, I actually prefer the bite of the API " motorcycle" chain system they use. Gives me a more secure feeling.

Love my grand slam super star. I did have of the plastic inserts break, and had two new ones in the mail less than a week later. I just called the number on the sticker on the stand to get customer service. That was before the big overeseas move though...
