hunting boots

How cold do you let it get before you start wearing insulated hunting boots. I live in massachusettes, I fugure when the temps start dipping into the 30s its time for me.

I wear a pair of LaCrosse Burleys with just the foam insulation for most of the bow season. Then like you mentioned, when it really starts to get cold out, you can't beat a pair of pak boots for keeping your feet warm while waiting up in a tree stand hours on end. For the money, I picked up a nice pair in the Sportsman's Guide, and they really keep my feet toasty warm. Another tip, be sure to pull out the liners after each hunt and let them dry out as well as the boot itself. Those electric boots dryers work wonders for that!!
