ok lets try this another way... bear epic extreme 2005 ish, vs 2013 bear encounter, vs 2006 elite e-500 all roughly the same price, all well maintained w/ new to newer string/cables, all three w/ same basic extras (drop away rest, quiver etc...) which would u all choose?? 1St time back into archery in 15yrs... and going to hunt turkey, deer, pigs and who knows what else w/ it...thanks gentlemen for the time..

I shoot the encounter now. At 70 lbs draw, 31 in draw length , 516 gr pile driver, = 266 fps...... and it is quite.
