Default question about trade ins

as ive already stated im thinking about getting a new bow. mine right now is a bowtech. been looking at other bowtechs and possibly a matthew z7. my question is my matthews dealer doesnt sell bowtech bows, will they still do a trade in? obviously doesnt hurt to ask. but was wondering if anybody else has been through this already.

I've found that if you have a relatively newer bow it is better to try and sell it yourself. You normally take a beating trading in a used bow. At least that is my experience.
