Need youth hunter bow recommendation(s)

One of my nephews (13-14) has stepped up from his Genesis. He is interested in a bow that he can eventually hunt with. He asked his dad about blunt tips for squirrels and small game, and camo jacket & skinning knife. (That's how it starts)

I'm sure there's good shops in Dawsonville, GA area. Are there any bows I can tell his dad to avoid? Look at? I don't know his draw length or poundage, but he could work up to 40-45 with practice.

Diamond razr edge package. Can usually find them for around $300.00.

Many lbow companies are making nice 'youth' bows for younger people and women. I know Matthews (Mission) and Martin have nice youth bows. I got a Martin Monster Buckhunter for my grandson that has a DL range I believe from 22-29" and a DW of 35-50#. Plenty enough for any whitetail.

Diamond Razor Edge sounds perfect for your nephew. I have my draw weight at 35lbs now but it has a max draw weight of 60lbs so he can work his way up. I am 5'4 126 so the youth model works prefect for my girly frame. Happy Hunting!

My 12 year old shoots this and it is great. We bought it from a store where the guy who owns it shoots one when tree stand hunting, and he is a very large man, all muscle. He says it is a great bow, and has harvested many large game animals.

Diamond has a new bow out now #5 to #70 the package runs about $370.00. Diamond produced this bow to compete with the Mission Craze. So the decision can really be hard buy a Mission and all profits go to missionaries all over the world or buy the Diamond and get a very good product.

I was always a big fan of the parker youth bows, very adjustable and the dl adjustment is super easy. shoot great and are very reasonably priced
