What is the best Trail Camera to use?
 

Well, we here at Gear Freak wanted to know....so be bought a bunch of them and tested them out. Moultrie, Reconyx, Stealthcam, Primo's, Bushnell, Tasco, Spypoint, and yes of course Cuddeback. If you are in the market for a new camera, don't spend that money until you watch our review on the cameras and see which camera actually caught what, and how they compared to each other. Decent review. You must have gotten lucky with the Bushnells you purchased. I have purchase 8+ over the last couple of years with half of them being returned due to some issue. Actually going to return ANOTHER one today! It's the Bone Collector edition. The screen will not come on. I have had issues such as very late trigger speed, ie. pictures of nothing up to a tail going past, severely bad pictures with streaks in the pic so bad you can't see anything. Another problem I have found with the Bushnell Trophy Cams is that are very sporatic in working during cold weather. I'm in north central MN so it gets REAL cold here. :)

Another point on your review I will disagree with is the IR flash not spooking game. I've had many pictures where you can easily see that the IR flash has spooked the animal.

Thanks WWhunter. Yeah, I definitely can not say that we just got lucky or unlucky in some cases. If we had a ton of money we would have ultimately bought 3 of each to test. We also tried to get it out before this years hunting season, so time was running out quickly. I will let you know how the Bushnell performs this season for me. That is the one I kept. It is out right now in my Elk spot catching (hopefully) pictures of some nice bulls. Going to throw it out in my whitetail area in the next week or two. Will also let you know how it performs in the cold for us. Up here in N. Idaho we think it is cold at 5 below. In MN at 5 below you are probably still going to the beach and wearing shorts. =)
