Strother SX-1. I can't stand shooting anything more than 3-4 years old, and with my 27 inch draw I need a bow that pushes my arrows out at a decent speed

Default rthere is a difference

There are bows over $1000. And there are actually bows under $500.
And those latter bow hunters have the audacity to harvest big game.
And the $1000 bow hunters will swear those other hunters never existed.

Hoyt Vetrix, 7'' Brace Height, works well for cold weather hunting plus they tend to be a bit more forgiving which also plays well into hunting. The Vetrix used to be in the upper realms of speed in 2007 but now many bows are much faster but at 260-270 fps im still happy with it. Ill probably keep it for a few more years then start looking at newer models. Shot the new Creed yesterday and I was impressed with what little time a spent with it.

Hoyt rampage XT. Same limbs and cams as the element just different riser that makes it a little heavier. Best bang for the buck for a Hoyt bow. Shoots awesome and quiet. I prolly won't upgrade bows for a couple more years

2010 Mathews hyperlite. this is my second Mathews and my 15th compound bow . i have been eyeing a new bow maybe the creed or Hoyt spyder. . The funny thing is i wont think twice about spending a grand on a new bow . but i would think a grand for a new gun is crazy also i just bought my 8 yr old a new hoyt ruckus. so he won't have to hunt with that damn crossbow it just isnt the same its like cheating
