String Silencers

I have tried all sorts of string silencers and the majority of them will last a day or so of shooting then start tearing casing my bo to shoot and sound louder. I shoot a 72# Alpha max. Any ideas??

I Have Tried:
Limsavers Everlast Leech
Limsavers Cable Leech
Limsaver Super String Leech
Tru Spyder Speed
BowJacks
Several other cheap types as well

Any info on the new Tru Glo Tru Block??

All of the string silencers you speak of are good. No string silencer will last forever. But I have yet see any Limbsaver come apart that quick with normal shooting. The only time I have seen that is when someone is shooting too light of an arrow for the weight or dry firing a bow. I would call Limbsaver and talk with the tech guys there, they maybe able to shed some light on it.

the ones that came with my bow lasted almost a year. Since those i try replacing with the same ones, severla times and almost the same effect. Recently i switch from Beman 340 back to 7513 aluminum with my grain scale im close to 90 heavier now. Still having the same effect maybe a bad patch. I know that Sims are the best on the market.

I will add that a couple of years ago Limbsaver did have a bad batch of product go out. I know that they were replacing it if you complained as well. They have since changed their chemical makeup to make them stronger.

That might be the case my bow is about 2 yrs old. I loved the one that came on the bow and replaced with the same and seem to tear very quickly. I'll go out this weekend and buy another pack and put them on. Thought i was crazy. Seems like the off brand have a similar issue with fast high poundage bows. Thanks
