I just purchased 2 dzn from my local dealer. I picked up a dzn 400's and a dzn of the 550's raw shafts. The previous stores owner had ordered the full trophy ridge line-up and the were still coming in. They had a dzn raw for 45$... not too shabby a deal IMO. I picked up the 400's for my Destroyer and Alligeance and the 550's for my Liberty. anyhoo, I really like the insert that covers the outside as well. They should take a huge pounding before a splintering of the end could occur. They seem to be a bit glossy for the hunting use but I have heard of some people wet sanding them to remove the glare. I dont know what this would do for arrow integrity but I'm sure there some who have tried it with great results.

Easton Axis FMJ the best of both worlds tough as hell too. I shot straight through both sides of the block's grip pit and not a mark on it, I did that with a normal carbon arrow and it imbedded in the plastic and snapped.
