I bought a dozen Easton ST Epic arrows 3 years ago, and am still shooting them. I'd vote for Easton.

For hunting I like Easton full metal jacket, heavy arrows which are great for penetration, tough and flies true. Just finished putting NAPs quick fletch on six of them and going to see how the shoot tomorrow.

Gold Tips for sure. Rugged for their price. They extract much easier from 3d targets too. And.... just another FYI..dont waste your money on camo wrapped arrows for hunting. They have a slight texture that will make noise on the draw (hide and watch if you dont believe it), but they look wonderful on the quiver if you just wanna hang it up in the truck window to look cool. I prefer to hunt, and Gold Tips with Blazers have not failed me yet.

I must be the lone wolf because I shoot the cheap Red Head supreme lites. I have missed my target and hit our wood pile with no breakage but a couple years ago I did snap one when I stuck my pie-bald straight thru the back out the front brisket and into the ground, the half that was in the brisket still snapped. If memory serves me they are 8.2gpi for the lighter weight ones. What is nice too is if you buy them at bass pro they will cut them to length and install the inserts for you free of charge.

I like the Gold tip velocity hunters. I used the Beman mfx's also. Plenty of good arrows out there to choose from.
