There' s only two I would consider at this point. I also use the SOP, and it' s the one that comes with Summit stands. The other is the Hunter' s Safety System. It' s a vest that has most of the straps incorporated into a camo vest (helps keep the tangles out). I believe from looking at Cabela' s catalog they have a version of this. I' m glad to see the question of safety first being answered.

Oh yeh, another thing. The SOP does have a pouch sewn to the waist belt that everything packs into. But the nice thing is that you can put it on at your home or vehicle (in most cases) and wear it either inside your camo or outside. I like it under my jacket or shirt.

I use one similar to SOP harness, it is designed for line workers and isn' t camo but strong as nails, comfortable & has a climbing harness as well. What ever you buy make sure it has a five point system with leg straps, as this forces the weight to the thighs not the chest area. They definately are not all created equal!!!!!!!!! Pay a few bucks extra, your life is hanging on those straps and it is worth it

I already chimed in for Seat-of the-Pants but one thing I' ve been seeing, All the new (not old dealer stock) Summit treestands have been including a Seat of the Pants harness with them. Good Deal!

Good Luck!!

One more for The Seat O The Pants. It has a self containing pouch built in.

I use a seat o' the pants that came with my buddy' s summit for my lone wolf. Works great!!!! Quiet and simple. What more could you ask for. Except mine didn' t come with a pouch.....what' s up with that?
