Bow Case
I am looking to purchase a airline bow case for a Mathews Switchback. Does anybody have any experience with any heavy duty bow cases? Thanks a lot

I've got a nice Plano I got from Cheaper than Dirt, I love it. My 3 year old son bangs around on it and climbs all over it and nothing happens to my bow. It's foam padded and has velcro straps that hold the bow and string in place, plus rubber arrow holsters. There are a few other kinds on that site too http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ItemL...aspx?catid=149

look for the one..black plastic....has a truck parked on top of it in the pic on the display.
think its called pillar lock er somethin. get some xtra foamfer the base. the velcro straps are a lil long, so the padding makes em perfect. take your bow with ya. try b4 u buy. |
I use a SKB double bow case when I fly, they are not cheap but I never had a problem with the airlines wrecking one of my bows. The other good thing about a double case is when I fly I have my bow, arrows, optics and my cammo all in there to cut down on baggage.

SKB makes a great bow case, but watch out for the SKB "bargin priced" model. I recommend looking at the cases before you buy.
